Experience the magic of Germany’s Christmas markets on this 7 day tour from Frankfurt to Leipzig.

Day 1- Let The Festivities Begin... 

On arrival in Frankfurt, meet your tour manager and coach driver for your Christmas tour! Prepare to enjoy majestic castles, Christmas lights, mulled wine, gingerbread, gift shopping, snowy (fingers crossed) views, shows and more. Get settled into your hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner with your group.

 

Day 2- Festive Frankfurt

Start your first full day in Frankfurt with a trip up the Main Tower for spectacular views of the city in its festive season. Meet your local guide who will take you on a Christmas themed tour of the old town, included a bag of hot roasted almonds for everyone. Spend the evening at your leisure exploring the Christmas markets in Römerberg and St Paul’s Square. 

 

Day 3 - Rejoice In Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber

Depart Frankfurt and journey to Nuremberg. Stop in the morning at Rothenberg ob der Tauber, a charming town known f or its medieval architecture, for being the country’s most well preserved walled town, and for its traditional Christmas markets. Continue to Nuremberg where you’ll spend the next 2 nights.

 

Day 4- Get Jolly In Nuremburg

The iconic gingerbread Lebkuchen is a firm favourite in Germany and now a festive staple throughout Europe, but its home lies in Nuremburg. Learn how to bake this classic biscuit in a baking workshop today. The evening is at your leisure to enjoy the Christmas market, one of the oldest in Germany.

 

Day 5 - Bavarian Delights

You’ll journey to Leipzig today, stopping at Bayreurth, a Bavarian town known for its UNESCO world heritage site opera house. Continue to Leipzig where the evening is your own to explore this next destination. 

 

Day 6 & 7 Leipzig Is For Christmas Lovers & Departure

Start the day with a canal cruise, enjoying the architecture while you sip on a delicious mulled wine. The rest of the day is your own, whether the history of the 1989 revolution, Johann Sebastian Bach or more festive markets take your interest. On your final day say goodbye to your group and head back to airport full of Christmas cheer and bags full of gingerbread and festive gifts.
