Our TGC goal is to reduce the paper and plastic usage by utilising technology to minimize reliance on printed materials. We offer our team a cycle to work scheme incentive, and most of us walk, cycle, or take public transport to the office. Within the office we are conscious of our energy usage, recycle our waste where possible, and have filtered water available to encourage staff not to buy bottled water.
As a travel company curating holidays worldwide, we are acutely aware of the importance of preserving the world we live in and travel through. We are committed to making a positive impact – environmentally, socially and economically.

Our People

Project ABCs and Rice
ABCs and Rice is a school that provides education, food, and healthcare for 220 vulnerable children and their families in Cambodia. With assistance from individuals and businesses like ourselves they are able to provide books, equipment, clothing, and transportation for their students.
ABCs and Rice feeds each child two hot meals per day (often the only food they eat) and sends rice home to their families to encourage attendance. By feeding these children and sending much needed food home to their families, this school enriches the local community and causes a knock-on effect that has saved lives. Not only is ABCs and Rice improving the health of several hundred people, but they are also providing a valuable education that their students use to improve their circumstances and their lives.
The Group Company are proud to support this initiative, and annually we cover 30% of the total running costs of the school.

Our Community
At TGC we encourage and actively participate in volunteerism and fundraising within our own community. We organise volunteering events several times a year for our staff and their families. Past events have included a beach clean in Filey, a raffle fundraiser for York Mind, a bake sale and food drive for Collective Sharehouse, and two Crazy Bingo events for HOPING York Street Kitchen and Kyra Women’s Project—and many more! We believe that doing good starts at home and are always looking out for local projects that could use a little help.
